ABOUT AEGIC

Aegic Entertainment came about after a 7 year long solo development endeavour actually somehow worked out.
Okay, it wasn't just an alignment of cosmic bodies. I made a game, self published it, and it spread around. No marketing budget - just word-of-mouth, grassroots style success. That's pretty neat.

The point is: Aegic is built on a strong and unique story and an awesome cohort of supportive players who showed up, believed in it and made it something bigger.
Now? We're here to make more games - driven by creativity & passion, for the people who made this journey possible.

THE ORIGIN STORY. (Ugh, another one?)

CAPITAL 'I' INDIE.

The term "Indie" nowadays is about as vague as corporate-lingo like "Driving synergy through holistic engagement for a dynamic future". Let's break it down:

"Indie" as in technically: Financially independent. Free from overlords. No publisher, no boss, no ethereal suit with the ability to shut things down; free.

"Indie" as a vibe: A small team, making cool, sometimes weird games, fixing whatever needs fixing, freedom but responsibility, and eating pizza 'till late.

We're both.

Strap in for a bit of corporate cringe. Don't judge, but AEGIC is a bit of an acronym. Each letter represents something we stand for at the studio:

A - Ambitious, Aspiring
E - Entertaining, Efficient, Endurance
G - Gameplay driven, but with Good Graphics
I - Independent, Immersive, Innovative
C - Cautious, Controllable.

So at Aegic, we make games that are fun to play. That's it really.
Gameplay comes first. We develop from a players-first point of view. Make it work and make it enjoyable.
We try to be ambitious and innovative without fear, but not in a foolish way. Our independence allows us to, so we must also protect it.

Very simple, but it works!
